LORD LIEUTENANT PRESENTS KING’S AWARD FOR ENTERPRISE

Lord Lieutenant presents King’s Award for Enterprise to Euro Central based company- ACS Ltd

 

On Thursday 26th October 2023,the Lord Lieutenant of Lanarkshire, Lady Susan Haughey CBE, presented the King’s Award for Enterprise to Euro Central based ACS Ltd.

The company describes itself as being in the circular fashion economy. It is an experienced rental and garment refurbishment specialist. With a highly skilled team and technological solutions such as their ozone cleaning method, they are a trusted sustainable garment solution for retailers throughout the U.K. including NEXT and ASOS.

The business is based at Euro Central and currently employs 120 staff.

ACS was one of 10 Scottish winners of the first ever King’s Awards for Enterprise. The company was successful in the Sustainable Development category, one of only 15 winners in this grouping throughout the U.K.

ACS is the first Lanarkshire winner in 6 years. Recipients of the Awards are permitted to fly the King’s Awards Flag at their main office and use the emblem on their marketing materials.

The Award is valid for 5 years.
