Many congratulations to Mr and Mrs Armstrong from Newarthill who recently celebrated their Diamond Wedding Anniversary .
And visiting the happy couple on 16th March 2026 was Provost Kenneth Duffy and Deputy Lieutenant Alison Plummer DL. The Provost presented Mr and Mrs Armstrong with flowers and a card from North Lanarkshire Council whilst Alison Plummer passed on congratulations from Lord Lieutenant of Lanarkshire Lady Haughey CBE.
