Retiral of Colonel David Cranstoun DL

The longest serving Deputy Lieutenant of the Lanarkshire Lieutenancy Colonel David Cranstoun of that Ilk and Corehouse  has now retired from active duties following 26 years sterling service .

Lord Lieutenant Lady Haughey CBE hosted a lunch at the Alona Hotel , Strathclyde Park on 21st June 2019 to mark Colonel Cranstoun’s retirement and to thank him for his very valued contribution to the Lieutenancy over the years . The Lord Lieutenant was joined at the lunch by Former Lord Lieutenant Gibby Cox  CVO MBE and other colleagues , past and present from the Lanarkshire Lieutenancy, all of whom wish David  along with  his wife Maja and family   good health and every happiness for the future .
