Vice Lord Lieutenant Gavin Whitefield CBE DL attended the fortnightly meeting of the Thursday Fellowship Group at St Mark’s Church in Coltness on 29th February 2024 .
Following an introduction by the Chair of the Fellowship Group Nancy Barbour , Gavin spoke about the role of the Lanarkshire Lieutenancy and some of his experiences during his time as Clerk to the Lieutenancy , Deputy Lieutenant and now Vice Lord Lieutenant .
Gavin received a very warm welcome and enjoyed meeting members of the group whilst enjoying excellent homebaking and tea at the end of the meeting !
