Many congratulations to Mrs Elizabeth Battles from Coatbridge who recently celebrated her 100th Birthday .
Deputy Lieutenant Derrick Hannan DL visited Elizabeth on 13th July 2023 passing on congratulations from Lord Lieutenant of Lanarkshire Lady Haughey CBE whilst Provost Kenneth Duffy presented flowers on behalf of North Lanarkshire Council . Mrs Battles was born and has lived in Coatbridge for her entire 100 years . Her house was packed with family , neighbours and friends to celebrate her birthday .
