Many congratulations to Wishaw couple Bob and Jean Burgess who celebrated their Diamond Wedding Anniversary on 7th June 2023 .
Lord Lieutenant Lady Haughey CBE visited the happy couple passing on a certificate and the card from the King and Queen Consort whilst Provost Kenneth Duffy presented flowers and a gift from North Lanarkshire Council .
This presentation by the Provost was unique in that Bob Burgess is the Depute Provost of North Lanarkshire Council !
